Facade and Cladding design ltd is a design only practice base in Potters Bar serving all specialist contractors in the facade industry. We are currently seeking to recruit a focused and organised Senior Facade Designer/Design Coordinator to add to our growing team.

The Role

Take charge of early stage design proposals of bespoke projects Bring together the development of design proposals Liaise with other designers, Architects, Consultants and Contractors Support the sales department with technical inquiries Create sketches for review before. Provide technical support, when necessary to all internal departments. Drafting of drawings for approval. Drafting of drawings for construction. Drafting of fabrication drawings. Drafting of site drawings. Compilation of technical submittal. Prepares conceptual designs, sketches and technical assignments with the designers. Provides work assignments with information on the respect of patent rights, applicable standards, labour protection standards, the efficiency of the projects and details developed Prepares the principle diagrams for connecting the individual details. Analyses the technical calculations and the financial and economic indicators in the development of new projects. Manages the production of the technical documentation accompanying the new projects. Works on refining existing solutions and details to improve their performance. Carries out the author's supervision and informs the head of the Design Department in the case of a noticed copyright infringement of the project and its practical realization Performs other tasks assigned by the management in relation to the assigned job.
The Person

Extensive experience of AutoCAD.
Experience of curtain walling, glazing, cladding.

To be considered for this role, you need at least 5 years of facade design.

This position is full-time hybrid in Potters Bar.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-65,000.00 per year
