As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of our facilities across multiple sites. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of building infrastructure and services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and cleaning operations. Leading a team of facility professionals and service contractors, you will develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, manage budgets, coordinate office relocations and space planning, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your expertise will be essential in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing facility performance to support our organization's goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, preferably in a multi-site or corporate environment. You should demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of building systems and sustainability practices. Proficiency in facilities management software, budgeting, and project management are essential. Exceptional communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are critical, as you will frequently collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners. Relevant certifications such as IFMA CFM or BIFM Level 5 are highly desirable.
