Are you a part-qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant ready to step into a dynamic, junior management role? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for fashion? NEXT's Marketing Finance team is looking for you!
Based in our brand-new Alfred Place offices in London W1, this isn't just any finance role. You'll be a vital business partner to our creative powerhouses: the fashion photography and PR functions.
About the role:
In a nutshell, you'll be instrumental in supporting the financial operations of these vibrant creative departments. You'll work closely with internal teams and third parties, ensuring smooth financial processes and providing key insights. Get ready to multitask in an exciting, ever-changing business landscape where reacting to client demands is part of the thrill!
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and reporting on spend for image creation.
  • Presenting spend performance to our Senior Management Team.
  • Conducting 'Value for Money' analysis and providing ad-hoc project support.
  • Handling Business Affairs (Insurance, Tax, and Finance Transformation).
  • Approving supplier onboarding applications and invoice payments.
  • Managing a team of 3 to 4 direct reports.
  • Liaising with a range of internal clients and brand partners to plan the financial aspects of creative projects.
What we are looking for:
You're a results-focused individual with a keen eye for detail and a knack for numbers.
Ideally, you'll have:
  • Direct experience with forecasting, budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability to navigate diverse business data.
  • Excellent communication skills and high numeracy.
  • People management experience (even if modest).
  • Presentation skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working (and sometimes leading) across virtual teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
