The Senior FP&A Analyst's primary responsibilities will be to provide financial support and control over the Greater Europe Region business under the supervision of the Senior Finance Manager.


The Greater Europe region consists of 4 sub-regional clusters, which cover a total of 27 countries (Northern Europe, Poland & Ukraine, Central & Southeast Europe and Israel & Palestine).


The Senior FP&A Analyst will support in the control of the Greater Europe Region's monthly management accounts and report on variances to senior management and the Europe & Canada regional consolidation team. The Senior FP&A Analyst will assist in the preparation, co-ordination and production of budget and forecasts.


The Senior FP&A Analyst is a proactive self-starter who demonstrates strong communication and business partnering skills, both with colleagues onsite and virtually through using Microsoft Teams.

Key accountabilities




Financial support to, and control over, the Greater Europe business:



Track and report daily sales to Greater Europe senior management and Europe & Canada area In conjunction with Financial Shared Services and the country finance teams, timely and accurate monthly financial close Production of appropriate monthly accruals/prepayments for the regional cost centres and accounts Production of Greater Europe monthly management accounts and reports covering all aspects of the P&L Production and review of sales and operating expenditure commentaries Monthly analysis and reporting of variances, identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions in future forecasts and ways of working Manage the regional P&L, maintaining an overview of budget and spending. Track and analyse the Promo budget at a regional level. Regularly monitor and communicate performance vs latest targets to senior management Preparation of regular reports that provide detailed insight to the commercial lead for Europe Region Support the creation and update of the Greater Europe Monthly Operational Review presentation slides.

Support the preparation, co-ordination and production of budget and forecasts for Greater Europe:



Preparation of monthly financial forecasts, the annual Budget and Long-range Plan (where required) in cooperation with the Senior Finance Manager and Commercial teams Attendance at and facilitation of the monthly Sales & Operational Planning meetings, supporting monthly forecasts Consolidation of the region's forecast and budget submissions for submission to Europe & Canada area and International Proactively provide suggestions for maximising revenue and optimizing spend across the business Implement efficient and reliable systems and processes to support financial planning and reporting Drive internal control processes and ensure the region's compliance with AbbVie's /Allergan Aesthetics's policies & procedures and external requirements Increase the financial understanding in the organization and be a valued finance business partner to our commercial teams.


Qualifications



Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar qualification preferred, although not essential ACCA/ACA/CIMA fully qualified or part qualified (final stages), or equivalent international qualification. Qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. Finance/accounting experience. Preferably gained in FP&A setting Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proven English language verbal and written communication skills Effective team building skills; ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across different countries and cultures Strong business partnership skills and team-oriented nature Experience supporting and presenting to business and finance leaders Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities (across different time zones) to achieve results and meet deadlines Knowledge of finance systems and business processes essential Strong Excel skills SAP, Longview, Teams, PowerPoint experience preferred although not essential
