Senior Finance Analyst RTR - Controlling




Contract Type: 12-month FTC



Location: Lutterworth (LE17 4XN)



Grade: RCS L



Hybrid working - 3 days a week







DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?





As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:


Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations (i.e. Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc. Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, Finance Business Partners and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management Support change programmes Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met Ad hoc tasks as required, any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?




Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements 2-3 Years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference Effective time management skills Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Ability to work well in a team Strong financial and analytical skills Flexible and resilient
