Inductosense is expanding, and we are looking for a Bristol-based Senior Finance and HR Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in supporting our people and financial operations as we scale up global deployments of our WAND technology.

Inductosense is a UK-based company that designs and manufactures ultrasonic sensor technologies for internal corrosion and erosion monitoring. Our WAND technology is deployed globally by major operators, enabling accurate, repeatable, and digitised wall thickness measurements. This helps customers reduce inspection costs and improve operational efficiency. You'll be joining a collaborative, innovative team working at the forefront of sensor technology in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Finance and HR Administrator to oversee our day-to-day financial operations and HR administration. Reporting to the Finance and Operations Director, you'll support everything from payroll and employee lifecycle processes to monthly financial reporting and project accounting. You'll be hands-on, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across multiple systems and priorities.

Key Responsibilities



Finance Operations and Reporting



Monitor and respond to emails in the accounts inbox

Reconcile daily and monthly transactions in Xero

Managing pension payments and liasing with pension provider

Clear expense and receipt submissions in Dext and ApprovalMax

Run weekly supplier and employee payment batches

Prepare monthly project finance reports and support budget tracking

Assist in monthly close activities with external accountants

Maintain the company's cap table and support share option scheme administration

Support the preparation of R&D tax credit claims

Manage VAT returns, assist with Corporation Tax submissions

Oversee online banking and manage BACS payments

Chasing up payments from customers when required

Assist in preparation of financial reports and KPI monitoring

Supporting annual audit process

HR Administration and People Support



Process employee changes, onboardings and leavers via HiBob

Maintain and organise employee records and documentation

Coordinate payroll changes and updates through HiBob and Pento

Support recruitment processes and new starter onboarding

Maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures

Act as a point of contact for internal HR queries

Working with the external IT company

Requirements



Accounting qualification or proven equivalent experience

Demonstrable hands-on finance experience in a startup or SME environment

Strong knowledge of Xero and associated finance tools (ApprovalMax, Dext, etc.)

Experience managing payroll changes and HR systems (HiBob or equivalent)

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Right to work in the UK

Able to work from our Bristol office

Nice to have



Experience administering EMI/share option schemes

Familiarity with project accounting and financial reporting by cost centre

Experience with CIN7 or equivalent inventory/operations software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 42,000.00-48,000.00 per year
