Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial and operational leads to ensure accurate month-end accounting close aligned with US GAAP.
  • Prepare and submit timely budgets and forecasts, ensuring approval and understanding by the business.
  • Deliver weekly cash forecasts, quarterly P&L reforecasts, and annual budgeting cycles with a focus on forecast accuracy.
  • Track and monitor risks and opportunities across commercial and operational areas, providing timely insights to senior finance leadership.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to support client reporting and provide ad hoc financial support.
  • Act as a financial advisor on accounting, audit, and tax-related issues, liaising with corporate teams as necessary.
  • Coach and develop a team of accountants and finance assistants, fostering a high-performance culture.

Skills/experience required:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/CA) with over 3 years of post-qualified experience.
  • Previous experience in a business partnering role supporting multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivots, Sumifs, Power Query).
  • Previous line management experience and ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SAP/BPC is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar TV production environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI/Tableau is advantageous.
