We are recruiting to a role within the Schools Finance Team, focusing on monitoring schools budgets. This role will supervise and support the team of School Finance Officers in delivery our Service Level Agreement with the local schools. You will be required to work closely with the local schools and also the internal services to obtain the correct information in order to make accurate forecasts. This role is suitable for candidates who are AAT qualified or hold a School Business Manager qualification and are either CCAB qualified or willing to working towards this qualification. All candidates require sound Excel knowledge. You will have experience of working with a range of financial systems and processes, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information to senior managers and other stakeholders. You will be required to have difficult conversations where you may have to offer financial saving solutions to stakeholders, such school management, governing bodies and internal departments.
