Becky would like to hear from you, she is seeking a skilled Senior Finance Technician to join a busy local authority finance team in Nottingham on a temporary contract with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting vital public services while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office, remainder remote).
? What you'll be doing:
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheet data.
- Forecasting budgets and monitoring financial performance.
- Completing journals and supporting month-end processes.
- Running reports and providing financial insight to managers.
- A finance professional with strong IT competence (particularly Excel).
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial administration.
- Strong communication skills to work with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Temporary contract - until at least the end of January 2026.
- ASAP start.
- Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in the Nottingham office. Monday - Friday 09.00-17.00hrs
- 16.65 per hour.
