57,000-62,000 | Hybrid Working | Senior Finance Leadership Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified accountant to take on a senior leadership role within a dynamic finance team. This position will play a key role in statutory reporting, compliance, and managing a small team to ensure robust financial control.

The role will involve:

Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and external financial reporting. Managing a team of 4, setting objectives, and supporting their development. Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong internal controls. Responsibility for VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory returns. Driving process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Working closely with external auditors and advisors. Contributing to wider finance projects and supporting the Head of Finance Operations.

What we're looking for:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with suitable experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge, including VAT and financial reporting standards. Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate a team. Confident communicator, able to work across finance and non-finance stakeholders. Strong Excel and financial systems experience; previous ERP experience advantageous. Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
