Senior Financial Accounting Lead
Yorkshire (Hybrid)
12 months FTC
70K-90K + Package / 500-600 per day
Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for technical accounting and external reporting? We're looking for a seasoned expert to lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and drive best practice reporting across a complex, multi-entity group.
In this pivotal role, you'll:

Oversee year-end and half-year group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
Act as the go-to technical accounting advisor for new standards and business initiatives.
Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
Own group accounting policies and contribute to key Board and Audit Committee papers.
Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.

What we're looking for:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
Strong IFRS expertise and proven ability to manage audits end-to-end.
Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
Background in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is highly desirable.
