Lead the Pack in Frontend Innovation - Senior Developer Wanted

Contract:

Permanent, the role offers hybrid work from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

What You'll Do

Work on developing, maintaining and optimising web applications, packages and storybook using modern Next.js, TypeScript, React and CSS
Consistently produce high-quality code that is maintainable and solves real-world problems
Be a technical leader within your squad and drive continuous improvement, advocating for users, accessibility & technical standards
Own your work through development, testing and release
Write new and maintain existing automation tests using Playwright
Promote code quality in the team through code reviews, pairing and quality feedback
Mentoring and supporting other frontend developers to help them grow
Participate in on-call support rotation

What You'll Bring

Minimum 3 years of working experience
Thorough understanding of TypeScript, React & Next.js
Outstanding collaboration skills, you enjoy solving problems and being a team player
Solid understanding of modern frontend architectures, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), routing, and performance optimisation
Sound understanding of testing with Jest & React Testing Library or similar
Experience with writing end-to-end tests using tools such as Playwright or Cypress
Experience using Storybook to build and document components
Experience working with Azure or any other cloud provider
Excellent communication skills, you're able to distil complex information clearly, provide excellent feedback and work well with people across disciplines
Solid understanding of accessibility principles catering for a wide audience
A desire and a passion for frontend development and a willingness to continually improve your skills
