The Role:
In this exciting position, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in historic gardens, applying your horticultural knowledge while gaining hands-on leadership experience. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain garden areas, ensuring they reflect the historic charm and integrity of the landscape.
Apply horticultural knowledge to plant care, soil management, and pest control.
Oversee the planning and design of garden areas to enhance visual appeal.
Develop leadership skills by mentoring and training junior staff.
Contribute ideas for business development and creative projects.
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the gardens and the business.

Who We're Looking For:
Minimum Level 2 Horticultural qualification and 3 years garden maintenance experience (preferably in a public garden).
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A passion for preserving and enhancing historic garden landscapes.
Leadership potential and a proactive approach to your work.
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.
