We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Global Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team! The Supply chain team, through Demand and Supply planning, and global capacity planning, plays a central role in Abcam\xe2\x80\x99s Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) function and the monthly Integrated Business Planning cycles.

Reporting to the VP Global Supply Chain, you will play a key role in optimizing global supply chain performance through process improvement and the maintenance and development of department wide KPIs, reports, and data analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and maintain KPI dashboards and a suite of self-service reports that enables users to identify opportunities to improve global supply chain performance
  • Provide analytic insight through a variety of tools and methodologies to drive change and help the global supply chain achieve its strategic objectives
  • Own the SCM relationship with Abcam\xe2\x80\x99s Data Engineering team to build and improve data sources that allow better insight, faster and more automated reporting
  • Prepare and present data/insights to senior stakeholders in a practical way to guide strategic decision making
  • Use analytic knowledge and technical skills to solve operational pain points through automation and process improvements
  • Lead Abcam\xe2\x80\x99s SCM Analysts community through peer review, knowledge sharing, and project prioritization
Qualifications
  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in data analysis and reporting, with a background in supply chain or operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and scripting language like Python (preferred) or R
  • Expert in data visualization software like Tableau (preferred), Power BI, or Looker
  • Familiarity with Data Engineering principles and best practices for data warehouse structure or data source design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver data related insights in a compelling and easily understandable format
  • Creative problem-solver with ability to maximize results from tools and data available
  • Output focused with a growth mindset and someone who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence a plus
