As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Your role will involve not only styling but also upselling products and services to enhance the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client expectations.
Engage with clients to assess their needs and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.
Upsell hair care products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are hygienic and in good condition.
Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and managing payments.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairdressing, including techniques such as barbering, makeup application, and eyelash extensions.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
Valid hairdressing qualification or equivalent experience in the industry.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable.
Ability to mentor others and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
