Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide high-quality support to clients in their homes. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of elderly or vulnerable individuals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in senior care, supervising, or working within care homes is highly desirable. A valid driving licence and IT literacy are advantageous for this position.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support with mobility and transferring clients safely Help with light household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Administer medication reminders as per care plans Monitor and report on clients' health and wellbeing to relevant professionals Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems Supervise and support clients in engaging in social activities or outings Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure personalised care delivery Drive clients to appointments or errands as required

Requirements



Previous experience in senior care or working within a care home setting is preferred Supervising experience and leadership qualities are advantageous Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members IT proficiency for maintaining accurate records and following care plans Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients or running errands Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols Compassionate nature with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.20-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
