We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of food quality. Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence across all dishes. Manage menu development in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Coordinate staffing schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance to optimise productivity. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximise efficiency. Train and mentor junior chefs, fostering professional development and maintaining high team morale. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health & safety legislation.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and management. Creative flair for menu development combined with an understanding of current culinary trends. Experience in restaurant operations including serving procedures is desirable but not essential.
