We are currently looking to appoint an exceptional

Senior Healthcare Assistant

The Role:



As part of a multidisciplinary team, our

Senior Care Assistants

have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care and outcomes for service users. You will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision as well as demonstrating procedures to and supervise SSSC registered care staff. Additionally, you will also direct, coordinate and supervise, the work of other staff within the unit to promote best practice in relation to resident care.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver personal care and support to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity is maintained.

Assist with daily activities such as bathing and dressing.

Administration of medication.

Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a caring environment.

Supervise and mentor junior staff, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance their skills.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with care standards.

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.


What We Are Looking For:



o SSSC registered


o SVQ Level 3 or equivalent


o PDA Medication or equivalent/ PDA Supervision or equivalent


o Previous experience at Senior level


o Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
