The University of Lincoln, in collaboration with the University of Nottingham, has established a Medical School at the Brayford Campus. Recently accredited by the GMC, we will be awarding our own medical degrees from August 2025 onwards.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Home Admissions Officer to join our team in Student Registry Services. This new role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the successful recruitment of students for our medicine programmes and you will be expected to support admissions for the Medical School, working closely with the Medical School team and key stakeholders to ensure an effective admissions process.
You will provide excellent customer service to applicants and academic staff, supporting and enhancing the University's admission processes and student recruitment strategy. By working closely with colleagues from across the University, you will ensure that robust and effective policies, procedures, and processes are in place for the admission of students to the University's medicine programmes.
You will need to be an experienced administrator with a proven record of working in a demanding, customer-focused environment and will be expected to independently apply knowledge and judgement to respond to complex queries on a daily basis. The role will require you to have excellent written and oral communications skills and you will be expected to establish good working relationships at every level, both internally and externally.
We offer a hybrid culture of working and the successful candidate will be expected to combine working at Lawress Hall, the Medical School and working from home.
In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln, our current students, and any currently engaged agency workers who have been with us for more than 12 weeks. We actively encourage applications from all colleagues across the University with the relevant skills and experience.
