Permanent Hours detailed below:

These contracted minimum hours are permanent positions within Boomerang Healthcare. A guaranteed hours contract as follows:

40 hour week- full time hours plus on-call support Additional hours and days can be made available should more hours be required

Duties can include:

Visit and support service users in their own homes with complex and non-complex needs Undertake and complete assigned tasks Undertake personal care and support where required Provide domestic support where required - cooking, cleaning, washing etc Taking service users out to shops or on visits Social Visits / Sits Training Completion of Care Plans Mentoring new care staff Spot Checks / Quality Checks Out of hours on-call support and cover Medication Audits

Essential Requirements:

3 years care experience Full driving licence and access to a vehicle Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills Caring, outgoing, friendly personality Punctual and reliable Moving, handling, and lifting experience Ability to use IT equipment Good organisational skills Effective skills in conflict management and conflict resolution NVQ Level 2 Must be able to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements (specialist training can be provided):

Skilled in PEG feeds Experience of supporting LD clients Medications management NVQ Level 3/4
