Job Description

We're looking for a

Senior HR Business Partner

to join our team and play a key role in shaping our people agenda as we continue to grow.







In this role, you'll act as a

trusted advisor to leadership

and a

champion for our employees

--driving initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and culture. You'll partner with managers across the business to influence decision-making, lead change, and ensure we're building an environment where people can do their best work.





This is a

Midlands-based role

. You'll primarily work from home but should expect to be in our Birmingham office frequently, with

regular regional travel

to visit offices and partner with managers and teams on the ground.







What you'll be doing:



Strategic Partnering



Work closely with senior leaders to understand business goals and shape HR strategies that drive performance. Lead on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. Advise managers on organisational design, change management, and employee relations.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding



Support hiring managers in defining roles and leading effective recruitment processes. Help strengthen our employer brand to attract high-calibre talent. Oversee onboarding, ensuring every new joiner has a smooth and engaging start.

Employee Engagement & Culture



Drive initiatives that boost engagement and embed our culture and values. Act as a confidential advisor and mediator when workplace issues arise. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the business.

Performance & Development



Coach managers to have effective performance and career conversations. Identify development needs and coordinate training programmes. Lead on performance review cycles, goal-setting, and feedback frameworks.

HR Operations & Compliance



Keep HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks up to date. Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practice. Track and report on HR metrics, providing insights for the leadership team and quarterly board reports.

TUPE & Acquisition Support



Manage all HR aspects of TUPE transfers, from due diligence to employee communications. Support cultural integration of acquired teams, ensuring a smooth transition. Provide clear guidance to leaders and employees through periods of change.



What we're looking for:



Strong HR knowledge with proven experience as an HR Business Partner/HR Manager in a fast-paced environment. CIPD Level 5 (minimum). Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and coaching skills. Ability to balance strategic vision with day-to-day execution. Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving business.
