We are looking for a Senior HR Officer and will help shape and deliver our ambitious transformation agenda of a modern reformed Council.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

You will lead and support organisational change and transformation projects that enhance service delivery and workforce effectiveness. You will provide expert HR advice on employee relations matters as required, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and council HR policies. Working collaboratively with Managers across Service areas to implement the transformation initiatives whilst committed to support the Councils aims and objectives.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

Passion for public service and transformation Proven experience of dealing with complex HR casework including change management project. Experience of providing customer focused HR solutions and substantial provision of HR advice and guidance to clients/services.

HYBRID WORKING

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
