Job Description

We are currently seeking a

Senior Hub Operator

to join our team.

This role will be part of the delivery team and will be expected to contribute to the North Lanarkshire Highways strategy as well as policies and programmes to enhance Hochtief's services to North Lanarkshire Council and others in the North Lanarkshire area.

The Senior Hub Operator will act as the single point of contact for all works orders for maintenance and construction. They will be responsible for provision, monitoring and the quality of these orders, ensuring that orders do not proceed without the appropriate information and an agreed scope. The Senior Hub Operator will be a key contact for the Client and staff through their gate keeping role providing a quality filter for orders and verbal requests, they will also recommend future improvements.

Duties include:



Monitor and ensure the highest quality of work orders' processing is maintained, following the relevant procedures. Monitor the operational procedures and provide feedback for improvement to the Management. Establish and keep effective communication with the client's inspectors. Ensure a culture of continuous improvement is adopted through regular feedback on order quality to the client. Ensure the effective deployment of resources whilst delivering excellent front-line services. Coordinate information within the hub. Identify and allocate work orders to the operational teams in a time efficient and cost-effective focus which consistently meets or exceeds contractual requirements. Coordinate and manage the effective deployment of operational staff to emergencies and ensure contractual obligations are met or exceeded. Manage any queries brought by operational staff. Provide feedback on the functionality of Confirm, Aurora, ACM, Metdesk, Vaisala, HTrack. TN360 and other systems used. Deputising for the Programme Manager where delegated.

Experience:



Have a comprehensive understanding of planning and estimating processes, tools, techniques and best practice. Desirable to have up to 2 years planning and operational experience in roads construction or maintenance. Possess an appropriate qualification and have sound technical and commercial knowledge. Analytical in interpretating data and formulating a forward programme identify and manage changes. Experience of dealing with Statutory Bodies, Clients, specialists, subcontractors, supply chain etc. and delivering in successful applications, schemes, discharging planning conditions and permits as required to undertake works. Full driving licence.
