We are recruiting a

highly experienced, hydraulically qualified Engineer

with expert knowledge of fluid power systems to join our team in Telford. This role demands a time-served professional with advanced skills in reading hydraulic schematics, fault-finding, diagnosing issues, and designing hydraulic systems.

Role Overview

Location:

Telford, with 50% workshop-based and 50% travel to customer sites (UK and occasional overseas).

Responsibilities:

planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on hydraulic systems, perform installations, and execute hydraulic and mechanical tasks.

Travel:

Must be flexible to travel and stay away from home as required.

Key Requirements

Expertise:

Extensive experience in fluid power/hydraulic systems, with proven ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, diagnose, and design hydraulic systems.

Qualifications:

Relevant engineering qualification (hydraulic-specific certification preferred).

Additional Skills:

Basic understanding of electrics/electronics and pneumatics.

Work Style:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel:

Flexible approach to travel and staying away from home.

Licence:

Full UK driving licence.

Eligibility:

UK nationals only (due to ITAR and location-sensitive requirements).

Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-13:00.
