Skills & Experience

Candidates are to have skills in the following areas:

AWS & DevOps.

AWS infrastructure management, CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and deployment scripting.

Linux Containerisation.

We utilise containerisation technologies like Docker to streamline application development, scaling and management.

Scripting.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and improve system reliability.

IT operations & maintenance.

Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our Linux based IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems, to guarantee maximum uptime and performance.

Duties

Monitor, prioritise and help resolve support request from internal and external users. Management of company assets - including onboarding and off-boarding processes. Perform regular support and maintenance tasks, such as backups, status checks and other proactive or reactive tasks. Undertake development activity in support of new and existing deployments of IT. Develop skills and technical proficiency guided by Cyber Lead and senior staff.
