Short Summary
Our Integration Specialists are responsible for ensuring that Magentus products work effectively once deployed into live environments. A Senior Integration Specialist provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) leadership within the Integration Services (IS) team, with Customers and with Magentus colleagues.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Providing technical SME leadership across the breadth of the work of the Integration Services team
Designing and developing innovative integration solutions that respond to new business opportunities
Providing in-depth knowledge and experience and guidance on good practice regarding use of Mirth integration engine and other tools
Taking a lead in IS documentation of customer solutions
Presales - shaping non-routine proposals, estimating
Technical quality assurance such as management of code assets, code review and RFC approval
Investigation, troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution within complex live deployments
Customer facing SME - trusted face, backing up other team members as required
Knowledge sharing and skills development within the team
Out of hours working and the on-call rota; working collaboratively with Magentus colleagues in all aspects of Customer service
What experience do I need:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, or equivalent learning from experience
Experience of designing developing and delivering integration solutions in the UK Health sector, including HL7v2 messaging integration.
In-depth hands-on experience with the Mirth integration engine or similar scripting driven integration tools (eg Iguana)
Able to work independently as an effective contributor within a close-knit collaborative team
Able to handle complexity and ambiguity and accommodate to change
Able to learn independently and continually develop own knowledge and expertise
Awareness of DevOps principles and experience of Agile delivery
Good general knowledge of IT e.g. databases, cloud basics, security principles & practice, Integration architecture patterns
The ability to meet tight deadlines, balancing competing priorities and responding to client needs
Strong technical knowledge & skills such as HL7v2 messaging, data transform/mapping scripts, SQL, Linux (RedHat), DICOM, RabbitMQ, HL7 FHIR, Ansible
