Please note that this is a fixed term contract position that we anticipate lasting for a period of 12 months. Core Responsibilities:
  • Support all phases of risk management, assurance and advisory projects with a strong focus on operational audits.
  • Collaborate with key leaders at various levels within the organisation to influence attitudes and support them to embed best practices on governance, risk management, compliance and internal controls across the organisation.
  • Perform walkthroughs and gain understanding of various business processes to identify and assess both formal and informal controls.
  • Identify and assess risks and internal controls and prepares procedures required to evaluate those risks and meet audit/project objectives.
  • Utilise data analytics by selecting and applying appropriate tools and techniques to data gathering, analysis and interpretation, and reporting.
  • Prepare reports that may provide practical recommendations to resolve issues or enhance mitigation action plans; summarise project outcomes and related statuses; high level business insights; and/or other improvement opportunities.
  • Support the organisation to understand the key role they play in maintaining strong risk management, governance, compliance and internal controls which will be critical in reducing risk, increasing operational efficiency, and protecting our Brand, Owner Family, employees, and business partners.
  • Performs other duties such as ad hoc projects as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

  • Professional internal audit, compliance and/or internal controls experience
  • Willing and able to travel regionally and globally up to 30% a year - required
  • Ability and confidence to deliver, with a high degree of autonomy, a range of activities under high quality standards, navigating through ambiguity and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Possess an understanding of business processes (that may be disparate and informal) and how they can potentially be impacted by risks
  • Model ethical behaviour and professional integrity, demonstrate discretion and respect confidentiality and sensitivity of information
  • Open-minded and collaborative
  • Value and promote diverse viewpoints and cultural sensitivity
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex issues, distil key points to be addressed and develop effective, practical recommendations to resolve problems
  • Experience with data analytics and visualisation software tools especially Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Ability to nurture and build effective partnerships with the business to achieve results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and with confidence to influence others
  • Experience of working with sustainability initiatives, including exposure to upcoming sustainability legislation such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
  • Fluent English (verbal/written); additional languages such as Spanish or Danish a plus
