About the Role
This role sits in the Investment craft and will work in a client pod within IPG Mediabrands UK.
This role will help deliver the Media Investment (i.e. Orion, PT, Trend, Partnerships) approach for a set of clients across Mediabrands and report into the AD. They will work with senior Investment Planners to develop plans through our agreed Investment approach, aligning with the client plans and targets outlined to deliver value for clients through IPG's industry expertise and partnerships.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Client Strategy

  • Building relationships cross-functionally to provide support on Investment requirements for clients, including Business Leadership, Activation, Solutions, and other Investment teams (e.g. Trading and Client Solutions).
  • Provide support on Investment elements of the Campaign Lifecycle from briefing through to reconciliation.
  • Manage the partner briefing process and help put together the Planning Framework delivered to tactical planning teams.
  • Provide reporting and insights to drive delivery against Trading targets for their clients.
Engagement and Industry Presence
  • Stay abreast of industry news and help provide internal digests of industry trends, news and POVs on a weekly basis.
  • Work with media owners and partners to ensure creds, case studies, rate-cards and training materials are kept up to date.
  • Be a key point of contact for media owners on campaign-level briefing, collaborating with them to develop responses that align with client and internal requirements.
  • Complete any required compliance and risk management training to ensure planning follows company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in delivery of Media Owner engagement plans e.g. arranging internal sessions, workshops, or training.
Training & Team
  • Complete all required training and learning opportunities for proprietary solutions and partner development.
  • Ensure channel knowledge is kept high to develop market-leading plans and strategies.
  • Provide operational support to the Investment Planning team such as coordinating internal and partner sessions for the team as well as fulfilling data and reporting requirements.
About You
  • Good understanding of digital advertising concepts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • MS Office fluency, including Excel pivot tables & chart making
  • Experience with statistics and related analysis methodologies
  • Ability to investigate, analyse & solve problems, and clearly communicate results
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and be a self-starter
  • A thirst for knowledge, eager to learn and seek out industry developments
  • Eagerness to get hands-on to figure out how things work
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
