If you have a go-to attitude and love to work with new and exciting technologies on one of the UK's largest IT infrastructures, we're looking for you! A successful IT Systems Engineer will have varied duties, from working on day-to-day tickets with varying levels of complexity, to assisting in the deployment of new projects and services.
This role is hybrid and based 3 days a week at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure the systems estate is optimally configured and effectively managed, adhering to best practice and Wren architectures
IT systems support
On-call for point of escalation one in 4 weeks
Planning, installation and maintenance of systems components and services
Project delivery
Escalation point for Service Desk
Liaison with third parties as necessary
Managing and maintaining systems monitoring systems
Contributing and keeping systems documentation accurate
Maintain knowledge of systems, ensuring that dependencies are understood and managed accordingly
Contributing and building reports that provide a proactive systems service

About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
A professional and pragmatic approach to systems troubleshooting and support
Experience of excalation point
Ability to demonstrate practical experience in administration of current Windows Server Operating Systems
A good to excellent understanding of using and administering Active Directory
PowerShell scripting
Office 365 administration and maintenance experience
An understanding of IT service delivery
VMWare
AD / AAD
VoIP Solutions

Mimecast
Zoom
Atlassian
Azure
Office365 administration (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams/etc)
