Treasury Technology is looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious Lead Oracle Engineer to own the Oracle platform for the liquidity reporting application. This is a hands-on engineering role that will require strong technical skills, particularly in performance tuning and re-engineering. You will work with a global team of technologists to develop applications to the highest standards and promote best practice. You will be expected to solve complex business and lead technical deliveries.

Your key responsibilities
Understand the program of work and current state technical landscape within Treasury
Working as part of a global technology team, focusing on development initiatives from London
Providing technical direction to the global development team including Mentor/Educate more junior/offshore team members
Hands on development, collaborate with architects and developers to deliver component designs
Contribute to assessment for new business requirements and strategic development of platform architecture and infrastructure
Your skills and experience
Strong design skills as well as knowledge in; Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Junit, Oracle/SQL/ PL SQL, Linux, Shell Script, JMS, MQ
Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Team city/Jenkins, Artifactory
Understanding of working in an Agile/DevOps environment
Existing financial knowledge
Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)
