Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Java Senior Engineer

with a strong background in legacy system modernization and reengineering projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using

AWS Bluage

. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to transform and modernize legacy applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the modernization and reengineering of

legacy applications using AWS Bluage

. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other engineers to define migration strategies. Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java code in alignment with project requirements. Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the modernization process. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Document technical designs, processes, and code changes for future reference.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Java Engineer/Senior Java Developer. Strong expertise in

legacy application modernization

and

reengineering

. Hands-on experience with

AWS Bluage

(L3 certification preferred). Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and AWS services. Proficient in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 400.00-450.00 per day
