We are seeking a skilled Javascript Developer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web applications and user interfaces. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects using cutting-edge technologies, ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple platforms. The ideal applicant will possess a strong foundation in front-end development, coupled with experience in back-end integration and system architecture.

We are looking for someone who has great interpersonal skills, and enjoys not only the development, but also can interface directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement responsive, high-performance web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web interfaces, ensuring optimal user experience. Integrate front-end components with back-end services via RESTful APIs and with headless CMS. Utilise version control systems including Git and GitHub to manage code repositories efficiently. Implement unit testing and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards. Participate in the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance. Utilise tools such as GitLab and Jira for continuous integration, project management, and task tracking. Work with cloud platforms like GCP to deploy scalable web applications. Apply best practices in responsive web design, SEO optimisation, and cross-browser compatibility. Contribute to system architecture planning and optimise application performance. Maintain documentation of development processes and technical specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in front-end development using JavaScript (including TypeScript), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX. Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js or Node.js. Previous experience with NextJS is advantageous. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions etc. Ability to develop for responsive web design ensuring cross-device compatibility. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of conducting unit testing effectively. Experience writing e2e tests using tools such as Cypress is advantageous. Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will have the right to live and work within the UK and will be working mainly remotely with one day per week on client site in Central London. Our team is based in and around London to facilitate weekly travel to client sites, as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-65,000.00 per year
