PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 41,200 - 49,133 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role exists to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, engaging, and legally sound news content to a diverse digital audience. As part of a dynamic news team covering one of the busiest regions in the South of England, you will play a key role in shaping the online news agenda by publishing stories on the BBC website and app, reaching millions worldwide. The position demands creativity, editorial rigor, and collaboration, helping journalists maximize the impact of their stories while maintaining the BBC's editorial standards.
