Senior Learning and Development Lead - Main Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of learning and development strategies that align with organisational goals and individual aspirations across all departments. Develop and enhance induction, leadership, digital learning, and compliance programmes, utilising data and best practice to drive continuous improvement. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to assess learning needs and propose creative, results-driven solutions for talent development. Deliver engaging, accessible training experiences across multiple formats, catering to a broad range of roles, backgrounds, and learning preferences. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of learning programmes and initiatives, using feedback and business outcomes to guide future enhancements. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, wellbeing, equity, and personal growth organisation-wide. Lead, support, and mentor L&D team members, promoting their professional development and performance. Stay current with trends, technologies, and emerging practices in learning and development, advocating for commercial innovation and impactful change.

Driving Business Performance and Learning Effectiveness



Commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to create L&D solutions that support business priorities and deliver tangible value. Experienced in analysing learning data and performance metrics, adapting approaches to maximise engagement and results. Creative and pragmatic, able to transform insights into practical, scalable solutions. Strong influencing skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and inclusively to diverse audiences at all levels.
