Role and responsibilities




Work with senior leaders and managers to identify learning needs and design interventions aligned to business priorities Contribute to the design and delivery of multi-year development programmes, with a focus on leadership capability and succession planning Act as a trusted advisor on L&D strategy, providing insights, challenge, and solutions Design, implement, and oversee management and leadership development programmes, ensuring they are future-focused and impactful Lead on organisation-wide learning initiatives (e.g. induction, early careers pathways, technical upskilling, and cultural development) Manage external training providers, ensuring value for money and measurable outcomes LMS management and reporting function Provide coaching support to managers and leaders to embed learning and support performance Contribute to the design and oversight of coaching and mentoring frameworks across the organisation Support the attraction, development, and retention of early careers colleagues (graduates, apprentices, trainees) Contribute to succession planning and talent management processes by ensuring clear pathways of development Ensure that learning interventions reflect and embed the QTS Group values and desired culture Support initiatives that strengthen our employer brand and community presence Track, evaluate, and report on learning impact and ROI, ensuring a continuous improvement approach Provide oversight and governance of training budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and alignment with business priorities Maintain compliance with regulatory and organisational standards Carry out other duties as and when required

Skills Required




Strong client focused approach Proven track record of continuing professional development Experience in change management and project management processes Hands on experience of design and delivery of management development and soft skills training Experience of budget management and governance Ability to evaluate impact and demonstrate ROI of learning interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to convey complex issues in simple language and methods Significant knowledge of learning and development principles, including adult learning theory Creative and solution focussed Strong organisational skills Focused on own professional development and interested in best practice in the L & D environment. Knowledge and practical experience of learning management systems and digital learning design. IT literate and proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Full UK Driving Licence
