Senior Lecturer In Criminology

Greenwich, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

To support our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Criminology.

With over 2,000 students and 50 full time members of staff, the School of Law and Criminology is home to a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes based at our home in the historic Old Royal Naval College.

The successful candidate will work closely with the existing criminology group to help deliver innovative teaching across our range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

We are specifically interested in candidates who would be able to lead modules and teach around criminal justice policy, quantitative research methods, and/or green criminology. In conjunction with teaching on these subjects we are also interested in candidates with a developing or established research profile that complements the school's existing interests, and who can support our new work around postgraduate programme development.

You must be able to demonstrate a strong teaching profile and a proven commitment to the student experience, including supporting students' wellbeing. A PhD in a relevant subject is highly desirable, as is energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to playing a full and active role in the life of the school.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Prof Mark Littler, Head of the School of Law and Criminology, on m.a.littler@gre.ac.uk
