Senior Lecturer in Independent Prescribing ( 2 vacancies : 1.0 FTE Perm role & 1.0 FTE fixed term role for 1 year)

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring pharmacist to join our successful and highly committed multi-professional Independent Prescribing team. The Independent Prescribing team participate in teaching, assessing and supporting multi-professional learners across the South West of England.

Successful candidates will have a high level of insight into contemporary prescribing practice, knowledge of the contemporary theories and concepts which underpin independent prescribing practice, as well as applied pharmacology.

Applicants must be registered on the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Register.

This post is based at our Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Home to UWE\'s , Glenside Campus offers excellent teaching facilities, these include a selection of inter-professional simulation suites, enabling students to practice and develop professional competencies, and one of the best health care libraries in England.

We have two posts: one permanent post and is full time, and one for maternity cover \xe2\x80\x93 one year fixed term full time. These posts are available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
