The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching, delivery, development, research, and administrative support of undergraduate and taught postgraduate Nursing Pre-Registration programmes, and other related programmes; including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the the Nursing (Pre-Registration) Programmes.

Professional Membership/Registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Nursing (Nurse Training). A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Nursing (Nurse Training) Education and be able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the sector.
