Position: Senior Legal Counsel | London, UK | Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid
The company:
A renowned global leader in the beauty and cosmetics industry, known for their commitment to innovation, quality, and excellence. With a rich heritage and a global presence, they are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic and growing legal team.
The role:
Senior legal counsel will be advising the international business on marketing, advertising and consumer law. The role will also support the Head of Legal in the day-to-day running of the department.
The main responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Offer legal counsel on consumer law for international business
- Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with advertising laws and regulations
- Identifying potential legal risks related to consumer interactions and developing strategies to mitigate these risks
- Managing one Legal Counsel
- Around 8 years of post-qualified experience
- In-house experience is essential
- Experience working for a global company advising on cross-border legal matters
- Solid understanding of marketing, commercial and contract law
