About the role




Are you an experienced legal professional looking to take on high-profile and meaningful work at the heart of Government? We are looking for a

Senior Legal Practitioner

to join the Civil Litigation Division, working at the heart of Government on a broad range of civil and public law matters. You will provide authoritative legal advice, appear before Courts and Tribunals (subject to rights of audience), and manage a varied litigation caseload on behalf of Departments, Boards and Offices. The role offers exposure to high-profile, sensitive and complex work, supported by an experienced and professional team.


We are looking for a skilled advocate, solicitor or barrister with strong experience in at least one of the core litigation areas listed in the role profile. You will be confident progressing cases, contributing to service improvements and supporting colleagues in a busy and fast-paced environment.
