Senior Lettings Consultant
Location: Whitchurch, Cardiff
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Chambers Estate Agents, an established and respected independent agency, is seeking an experienced Lettings Consultant to join our team in Whitchurch, Cardiff. This is a key position suited to a confident lettings professional with strong operational experience, excellent communication skills, and a clear understanding of industry legislation.

The successful candidate must hold an individual Rent Smart Wales licence and have a proven background in residential lettings and property management.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the lettings and property management portfolio Handling maintenance issues, liaising with contractors, and ensuring timely resolution Visiting properties where required to oversee maintenance work and ensure it is completed to a satisfactory standard Managing rent collection, rent arrears and conducting rent reviews Preparing and issuing legal notices in accordance with current legislation Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, maintaining clear and professional communication Supporting a collaborative and service-driven office environment
The ideal candidate will have:

An active Rent Smart Wales individual licence A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a lettings or property management setting Strong working knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance requirements Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills A proactive, solutions-based approach with strong organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A full UK driving licence
