Jacobs Steel are one of the leading independent estate & letting agents with seven offices spanning the South coast between Worthing and Brighton & Hove. Having been established for 40 years we have built a reputation on delivering a high quality and trustworthy service. Jacobs Steel's residential lettings business continues to thrive and grow at a rapid rate. Following the launch of our Brighton & Hove office in 2020 we are seeking an experienced Lettings professional to join our team of 6 based on our newly renovated and expanded office in Portland Road.
This position benefits from a high volume of leads which are generated through our innovative marketing campaigns, established database and supportive, experienced estate agency business. In return we require someone with a 'can do' attitude, a professional but friendly approach and a driven work ethic.
This is an exciting a rare opportunity for an ambitious experienced lettings consultant to progress their career to manager as the division and team grows.
Responsibilities include:
Building relationships with, applicants, landlords and colleagues Booking and attending valuations/ viewings Manging junior negotiators and being involved in growing the team over time Partnering managers and the marketing team to develop strategies to improve market share
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Previous estate/ lettings agency experience (minimum 4 years) A 'can do' attitude with a competitive nature Excellent relationship building skills A clean driving license
