Torfaen Council are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the licensing team as a Senior Licensing Officer. As well as supporting the team manager with the review and implementation of policies and procedures and contributing towards the achievement of the teams aims, objectives and targets, the successful individual will be required to support and provide advice to businesses, licence applicants and the public. The post holder will carry out routine inspections, liaise with a range of other teams, departments and external partner organisations, investigate complaints and take enforcement action as and when appropriate. The post holder will also carry out a range of other licensing functions such as dealing with debtors, writing reports, attending licensing committees and Court. The post will involve working early mornings, evenings and weekends as and when required
