We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the capacity to supervise and mentor junior technicians.
Responsibilities
Will be Plumbing biased during the course of this specific role
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including troubleshooting issues related to logic controllers and electrical systems.
Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Conduct inspections and assessments of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Utilise welding skills as needed for repairs or modifications on equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory management.
Skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Proficient in working with logic controllers and electrical systems.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and clients.
Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining various types of machinery.
Ability to interpret schematics accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.
Customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring client satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Welding skills are advantageous for performing necessary repairs or modifications.
