Job description:





We are looking for a Senior Manager (SM)/Associate Director (AD) based in our Manchester office to drive client and engagement excellence. The individual will be a successful consulting leader, working with new and established clients spanning a range of our transformation consulting capabilities.



This role involves leading relationships with clients to solve critical issues while nurturing talent and delivering excellence across value adding consultancy projects. The candidate will contribute to wider business initiatives as we scale up our Manchester office and play a key role in delivering value.



You should be an expert in at least one of our core service areas: Business Transformation, People and Change, or Operational Effectiveness and you are expected to have a broader understanding of how to piece multiple solutions together to drive the best client outcome.



EXPECTATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS


You will be expected to:


Analyse problems to drive critical projects from idea, through solution, to delivery through working closely with client teams across all levels Engage stakeholders across all levels to drive constant alignment and understanding of project goals and value Lead a cross-functional engagement in a multidisciplinary teams Ensure the delivery of high-quality conversations, deliverables, projects and programmes. Effectively partner and communicate with senior clients to drive results, tailoring messages for maximum impact. Lead and facilitate workshops, promoting the exchange of knowledge with Alchemmy colleagues, our clients and our partners. Align tasks with team skill sets, guaranteeing impact for the client, and the highest calibre of deliverables. Identify further opportunities to support clients on delivering value. Cultivate meaningful and long-lasting relationships with peers and senior executives. Mentor colleagues, fostering their professional growth and excellence.

Required experience & skills:




Senior Level Leadership experience in designing & delivering complex transformation projects and programmes delivering large scale benefits (>5m benefits for SM/>10m for AD) Proven ability to project manage and lead multi-skilled consultancy teams of 5 to 15 people In depth knowledge of multi-million budget management Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more areas: Operating Model Design, Organisational / People Change Management, Digital or Operational Transformation Programme, workstream and tranche management experience of the whole end to end cycle (design, mobilisation and delivery) Experienced in drafting Statements of Work, Opportunity Identification and Support, Commercial Management of Opportunities and Engagements, Quality Assurance and Risk Management Strategic advisory experience (working with senior sponsors and clients) to articulate problem statements and co-create, deliver and implement solutions based on prior experience and leading practice Strong visualisation & storytelling skills

Desired experience & skills:




Aviation, Rail or Transport experience preferred but not essential
