Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Finance to join us in Chelsea, London.
The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, will play a key role in driving the commercial finance agenda for Liberty Global. You will support functional leaders across the business to pursue cost-efficiency opportunities and explore potential avenues for commercializing services provided to operating companies, as well as growth and services businesses.
In addition to leading budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting, this role carries responsibility for the implementation, governance, and in-life management of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with operating companies. You will ensure MSAs are structured effectively, financially disciplined, and aligned with business objectives, while overseeing performance, compliance, and value delivery across contractual relationships.
This position requires a results-driven individual who can drive commercial initiatives, manage complex service agreements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline across the organization.
What will you be doing?Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery of results. Partner with senior stakeholders as a strategic advisor, converting financial data into actionable insights that shape decision-making and drive accountability. Challenge business leaders to uncover cost efficiencies and unlock new commercial opportunities, balancing financial discipline with growth ambitions. Design and embed KPI frameworks to measure functional effectiveness, profitability, and cost efficiency, with a clear link to value creation. Conduct in-depth financial analyses--including variance, trend, and sensitivity analyses--to anticipate risks and optimize business outcomes. Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, providing commercial and financial leadership to guide investment choices and capital deployment. Uphold corporate governance standards and frameworks across all financial and contractual processes. Continuously enhance planning, reporting, and forecasting processes, leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and impact. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and identifying new ways to create efficiencies and deliver insights.

Master Service Agreement (MSA) ManagementLead the implementation, governance, and in-life management of Liberty Global MSAs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, contractual compliance, and value delivery. Negotiate, structure, and maintain standardized pricing models for MSAs by function, driving efficiency, transparency, and fair allocation of costs and revenues. Develop and deliver performance dashboards for key MSAs to support customer service reviews and track service delivery against agreed SLAs. Act as a facilitator between contractual parties where required, resolving issues and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement. Continuously refine MSA processes to maximize efficiency, profitability, and long-term value for the business.

We tend to look for people with:Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and shape financial narratives. Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of financial performance drivers, contracts, and governance. Proven ability to manage stakeholders, negotiate complex agreements (e.g., MSAs), and facilitate alignment between parties. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile, and commercially led environments, adapting quickly to change while juggling multiple priorities. Skilled in financial modelling and advanced Excel/PowerPoint, with experience using financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Smartview, HFM) and AI tools to drive efficiency. Track record of leading and delivering transformational change projects across functions. Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent), with experience in commercial finance and FP&A.
