What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager International Tax, you will play a pivotal role in advising major UK-based and international clients on their most critical cross-border tax issues. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing complex advisory projects that span multiple jurisdictions-ranging from corporate restructurings to navigating evolving global tax policies. • Provide expert international tax advisory services to a varied portfolio of clients, supporting their commercial objectives through tailored solutions.
• Manage the delivery of technically robust advice on corporate tax structuring, refinancing strategies, business reorganisations, pre- and post-transaction planning, and legal structure optimisation.
• Oversee multi-jurisdictional projects involving international expansion, operating model redesigns, and responses to global tax policy changes such as BEPS 2.0.
• Support clients during tax authority enquiries by offering clear technical guidance and collaborating with specialists from other departments or overseas offices as needed.
• Coach and develop junior team members by sharing knowledge, offering feedback, and fostering an environment of continuous learning.
• Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for additional value-added services.
• Lead proposals for new engagements by preparing tender documents, presenting at client pitches, and crafting innovative solutions for client challenges.
• Actively participate in business development initiatives alongside Directors and Partners to identify new targets and grow the practice's reach.
• Serve as a role model for organisational values by demonstrating integrity, collaboration, and commitment in all interactions.
