We are looking for an experienced consultant to join our growing team at the Senior Manager level.
Working with us you will have the opportunity to:
Work with clients across the private and public sectors, including global pharmaceutical and financial services institutions and major government bodies;
Work in a stimulating and challenging environment with like-minded people who are at the forefront of their chosen field;
Gain experience in a range of technical areas including, among others: implementation of global Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management (CREFM) strategies, leading workplace services transformation programmes, operating model design, and complex facilities management procurement projects; and
Work in a highly reputable business consulting environment, advising clients at executive management level to help them solve their most complex problems.
Examples of projects you could lead include:
Preparation of the procurement strategy for a high profile, multi-billion dollar facilities and workplace services transformation programme, including design of a new target operating model, supporting 'make or buy' decisions and preparing robust business cases;
Procurement of facilities management, real estate or construction project management services internationally (or across the UK for public sector), including negotiating industry-leading facilities management contracts, design and delivery of performance management metrics;
Developing an Estates and Asset Management Strategy for a Central Government department, in line with their strategic aims including net zero improved value for money;
Supporting a client to assess options and select the location for a new HQ office location, define the outline requirement and stand up the programme to deliver and service this new workplace to its 2000+ staff;
Development of Green Book Business Cases to secure funding approval for major accommodation projects across the UK with whole-life costs of 10m-1bn+;
Developing the strategy and associated programme for redesign of a HQ office facility, identifying requirements for new workspaces to support the organisation's future strategy and address workforce needs.

Essential Requirements:
A 2:1 degree or equivalent or experience of working for a major consulting firm in a client facing role;
Strong commercial acumen and market awareness;
Excellent analytical skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
Ability to build strong, effective working relationships and manage the project engagement teams;
Confidence, independence and proactivity; and
Ability to travel as required.
Willingness and eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (SC and/or DV level, if required).

Infrastructure and Real Estate
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects. Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
