Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

Band

: Up to 65,000 depending on experience


THE ROLE



With responsibility for overseeing, monitoring and communicating strategic data engineering and architecture delivery, you will also be required to work with Data and Analytics, Change, Engineering teams and 3rd party vendors. This will also include supervising staff and running workstreams.

This role is the internal co-ordinator responsible for providing data engineering and architecture strategic oversight to ensure group data strategy is executed in timely manner and will include:

Designing data literacy, data story-telling and relevant comms cascade to uplift data practice Designing compelling visual aids eg for UIs, utilities, components to support process re-engineering for key data engineering and platform change Supporting execution of strategic programmes, including workflows, artefacts, programme packs and materials and ensuring conformance to BBB solution requirements, enterprise architecture principles, security standards and functional / non-functional requirements



With experience in data story-telling, knowledge of data literacy and some experience in designing data assets/ utilities and working in accordance with the approved British Business Bank Design standards, you will also have excellent knowledge of data management capabilities, data/ systems architecture and technical delivery processes. Experience delivering user support, training materials and wrap-around channels e.g., SharePoint, confluence is also essential, as is the ability to propose changes to existing standards and strategies or introduce new approaches to meet the needs of new and emerging technologies.
