Senior Membership Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and driven Senior Membership Manager to support on delivering a compelling membership proposition across multiple Hearst brands to drive membership engagement, retention, and growth. The ideal candidate will manage membership engagement initiatives and drive member satisfaction. The role will be responsible for managing partnerships to deliver events, offers and competitions, to reward our most loyal customers and help to bring our content to life. This role requires a proven ability to build strong member relationships, analyse data to inform strategy, and help lead a membership team effectively.


The role:


Design and execute membership growth strategies, driving acquisition and retention initiatives. Manage key partnerships with brands to deliver value to members and drive opportunities across Hearst Deliver a program of compelling offers, giveaways and rewards to engage members with Work closely with the editorial and events teams to create a program on engaging live experiences for members Work closely with commercial teams to support on sponsored membership activations Support on developing new membership programs for Hearst titles, Manage and mentor the membership team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement comprehensive member engagement and marketing plans to enhance value delivery. Monitor membership data, trends, and feedback to shape initiatives and improve satisfaction. Oversee the membership experience journey, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and strengthening relationships. Collaborate with acquisitions, retention, marketing, events, editorial and other teams to develop programs that promote the benefits of membership. Prepare reports and updates to present membership performance metrics to stakeholders. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
About you:


Line management experience Knowledge of media industry and events industry Experience in partnership management Experience of having face to face interactions with Proven work experience in membership/loyalty Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy in work standard Ability to work as part of a team within office and event environment Flexibility in work approach and time management Competent in using word, excel, power point, internet and e-mail systems
